The B-CU media spokesperson(s) are very creative with how they quickly come up with cover up stories to hide illegal activity on the campus. The true story is that a riot broke out earlier today in the Oswald P. Bronson male dormitory adjacent to Martin Luther King Blvd. leading to an all out "free for all" brawl between students, faculty and staff. The massive fight of over 100 students led to student arrests, hospitalization of certain students, and major confusion on the campus. There are physical damages to the dorm rooms, student property, etc. as a result of this latest incident.
Daytona Beach Police Chief, Michael Chitwood, is working with Dr. Reed to assist with the cover up story. His interview with Channel 13 News suggests that the melee broke out after the sprinkler system went off in the dorm. What really happened was that the riot was sparked after a Dean choked a student and punched him in the chest which caused the student to have a seizure. Once the word spread like wildfire, the students started to riot.
Students were mased by police and others were injured. Students who reside in Bronson Hall weren't allowed to speak to the media. Dr. Reed is managing the situation by calling a meeting in the Heyn Memorial chapel and telling the students not to panic. I do not know who she is trying to fool, but the sudents, faculty, and staff are aware of the real story. How many more incidents like this do we need to happen on the B-CU campus for us to realize that Reed's administration is doing a piss poor job managing the University and its sudents?!?
Students need to call their parents and/or speak to the media (in writing or by phone) and share their horrible experiences under Reed's presidency. She has created a state of fear on the campus. If my son or daughter attended the University, I would demand a refund immediately. The students, faculty and staff are not safe on that campus.
Word to the wise, please don't believe everything you read in the news.
Always in fighting trim,
